This course will prepare you to continue your depth practice with techniques such as FRC diving, mouth-fill equalization and packing. You will also learn and demonstrate open ocean equipment management skills including knots, setting the line and safe handling of equipment. This course is designed to learn how to assist the freediving instructor, including a demonstration of guiding an appropriate stretching session. Successful candidates will be certified as a level 3 master freediver and as an assistant instructor.
You will need:
AIDA3 certification or equivalent (Fii level 2, Molchanovs W2, etc.)
A 5mm freediving wetsuit, gloves and booties.
Low volume mask & snorkel
Weight belt and weights
Long fins for freediving
Course requirements:
Minimum Age: 18 or older (16 with parent/guardian signature)
CPR/FA certification (within the last 2 years)
3 Classroom Sessions
2 Confined Water Sessions
4 Open Water Sessions
To qualify for a Level 3 Freediver certification you will demonstrate*:

DYN 70m
CWT 32m
Safety skills and proper buddying
Open water equipment setup (including knots & braids)
Lead group stretch/warm-ups
A written exam score of at least 75%
*You have 1 year from the course start date to complete all requirements for the certification. If 1 year lapses, you will need to retake the course.
